Is AECS a testing laboratory?
No. AECS is a regulatory compliance, certification and Global Market Access service provider. When testing is required, we coordinate with appropriate external accredited laboratory partners.
Can AECS arrange FCC testing?
Yes. AECS can coordinate FCC-related testing and certification support through qualified partners. The final test scope and authorization route depend on the device and applicable FCC rules.
Can AECS support CE / RED testing?
Yes. We can coordinate RF, EMC, safety and RF-exposure testing and technical compliance review for applicable EU radio-equipment projects through laboratory partners.
Can AECS support China CCC?
Yes, for applicable product categories. CCC scope and implementation requirements are product-specific, so we first confirm whether the product falls within the compulsory catalogue and applicable rule.
Can existing CE or FCC reports be reused for ASEAN approvals?
Often they can support applications, but acceptance is country-, standard-, product- and report-specific. Some markets require local testing, additional evidence or specific accredited-lab conditions.
Do all countries require a local representative?
No. Local representative, importer or certificate-holder requirements differ by country and approval scheme. AECS confirms this during scope review.
How long does certification take?
Lead time depends on country, product category, test readiness, authority workload, sample logistics and whether RFIs occur. AECS provides an estimated project timeline after technical review.
What information is needed for a quotation?
Send the model, datasheet, complete RF specifications, available test reports, module information and target countries. This allows a much more accurate scope and quotation.
Can AECS support multiple countries under one project?
Yes. Multi-country programs are a core AECS service. We plan the sequence, identify common evidence and coordinate country-specific requirements.
Can AECS help after certification?
Yes. We can support renewals, label/CID requirements, product changes, import permits and expansion into additional markets, depending on the scheme.
