Scope of website content

Content on this site — service descriptions, market summaries, lead times, coverage information — is general information about AECS's regulatory and certification practice. It describes typical scope and process; it is not a quotation, a commitment on timing or cost, or confirmation that any specific product qualifies for any specific scheme. Actual scope, requirements, cost and timing are confirmed only after a technical review of your specific product.

Not regulatory or legal advice

Nothing on this site constitutes legal, regulatory or compliance advice on which you should rely without independent confirmation for your specific product and market. Regulatory requirements change, and applicability depends on details this site cannot account for in general terms.

AECS is not a testing laboratory

AECS is a regulatory compliance and market-access consultancy. It does not itself perform product testing. Where testing is required, AECS coordinates with established, accredited external laboratory partners. References on this site to "testing support" or "testing coordination" mean exactly that — coordination with a third-party laboratory, not testing performed by AECS.

No guaranteed outcomes

Certification and regulatory approval outcomes are ultimately decided by the relevant authority or laboratory, not by AECS. Nothing on this site should be read as a guarantee of approval, of a specific lead time, or of a specific cost — see the hedged language used throughout the site's service and market pages, which is intentional.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, AECS is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, general information published on this website. This does not limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and does not affect the terms of any separate written engagement you enter into with AECS for a specific project.
