Cambodia
Southeast Asia
Cambodia's product standards and conformity assessment framework is developing rapidly under the Institute of Standards of Cambodia (ISC). Telecommunications equipment requires type approval from the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC). AECS helps manufacturers and importers navigate ISC standard conformity, MPTC type approval, and the Ministry of Commerce import licensing requirements for controlled goods.

Regulatory landscape
The Institute of Standards of Cambodia (ISC) develops and publishes Cambodian national standards (CS), many aligned with ASEAN harmonised standards and ISO/IEC. Mandatory conformity requirements are expanding across consumer goods categories including electrical appliances, food contact materials, and construction materials.
MPTC type approval is required for all telecommunications terminal equipment and radio communication devices operated in Cambodia.
